July 11
Arrive Beijing, check into the hotel
July 12
Tianamen Square and Forbidden City, afternoon rehearsal for concerts, outing to Beijing Opera
July 13
March in Beijing Olympic Cultural Parade and CCTV/BTV national coverage, afternoon visit to Temple of Heaven and evening performance by your group at the Olympic Cultural Plaza (public performance venue)
July 14
Beijing Music Symposium with reciprocal concerts of visits groups and clinics spread throughout the day. Official Welcome banquet hosted by Beijing Tourism Bureau followed by shopping at famous “Silk Alley”
July 15
Official visit to the Great Wall hosted by Beijing Government followed by lunch and visit to the Summer Palace. A grand evening out is planned to the infamous Beijing Acrobats.
July 16
Depart leaving behind over one billion smiles of friendship.

Technical Aspects of China Cultural Exchange Program Includes:

Airfare (coach) and applicable taxes:

  • Roundtrip to/from Beijing.
  • Business class upgrades are available for parents for a supplement

Hotel Accommodations:  Twin Occupancy for students and staff, single occupancy for director Accommodations will be three and four star hotels throughout. 

Meals: Three meals per day, featuring daily western breakfast and special restaurant venues.

Coach Charters: The group will have exclusive use of charter coaches with air conditioning for the program as listed.
Tour guides, English Speaking (one per bus) are provided for itinerary as listed.  The group will have the opportunity to take escorted early morning walks to watch and participate in tai’chi exercises and other morning activities.

Other Included Expenses:

  • Admission Fees for all sites and attractions mentioned have been included.
  • Gratuities for guides, drivers and baggage handling have been included.
  • U.S. and China airport departure taxes.
  • Visa fee for all persons holding U.S. passports.
  • Customs service inside China for pre-processing of all musical instruments and equipment.

Coordination:

  • Arrangement and coordination of all special performances and student exchange opportunities as outlined.
  • A fulltime English speaking escort/trip coordinator for the group will be provided by Panda North America, this is apart from the English speaking tour guides.
