A Spring Break tradition since 1980, the Hawai'i Invitational International Music Festival is the proud sponsor of two of the largest parades on the Islands, the spectacular "Salute to Youth" Parades. In the last 27 years, tens of thousands of Hawaiian and mainland band members, auxiliary units, vehicles, floats, drill teams and dancers have entertained locals and tourists alike as they parade down Kalakaua Avenue at sunset.
